Disco Ducks Workshop

A brilliant turn out at yesterday's workshop at The Boating Pool in Ramsgate.  Over 50 ducks were turned into disco ducks with kids and parents getting stuck in with glue and glitter. Don't forget to come along on Bank Holiday Monday at 5pm to try and hook the winning Disco Diva Duck.  £50 cash prize at stake!

We were really pleased to run a workshop at the Walpole Bay Hotel on Monday 9th August with local dance group Urban Dynamics. They were making Disco Ducks for our grand Hook-A-Disco-Duck finale on Bank Holiday Monday at the East Wing, The Boating Pool on the Western Esplanade at 5pm.  Come along and try to hook the Disco Diva Duck and win  a prize!

Come and busk during the event!

The August Bank Holiday weekend in Ramsgate is going to be packed with visitors.  As always, visitors come for the historic harbour, the sandy beaches, the Georgian architecture and the continental harbour-side cafes and bars.  This year, in addition, they will be coming to take part in A Summer Squall and will be in the mood for all sorts of music.

We have lots of fantastic pitches.  We even have a couple of venues where we can arrange for you to play.  Get in touch to discuss playing in Ramsgate during A Summer Squall.  We welcome local musicians and those from further afield.
