Ramsgate Arts is an organisation of local people for local people. Everything that we do is about increasing opportunities in the town, improving the artistic offer in the town, helping build skills and civic pride in Ramsgate and working towards really putting Ramsgate on the map!
Working together
What would we like you to do? There are all sorts of ways that you can become involved in Ramsgate Arts.
- Become a member. It's free! Membership, for constitutional reasons, is fixed at 100 and there are still a few places available.
- Become a friend of Ramsgate Arts. Register your support and keep informed about events and activities.
- Join the Board of Ramsgate Arts. If you are interested in becoming actively involved in making a difference, then do contact us with a view to joining the Board.
- Become a sponsor. We have all sorts of packages and offers for local businesses who want to support us.
- Join our local artists' group. Whatever arts field you are involved in, become a member of our artists' community with a view to your work being part of our events and activities.
- Become a volunteer. If you would like to commit to a specified task or helping with an event we have a growing volunteer list and an even bigger list of things to do!
Get involved in A Summer Squall
There are lots of ways you can get involved with our August Bank Holiday festival (28th- 30th). You can:
- Let us know if you have work that you would like to show - arts, crafts, music, photogographs - get in touch.
- Take part in Squall in the Park (Ellington) if you are a young musician/dancer/performer.
- Open your house/studio and be featured in our programme as part of our Open Studios.
- Volunteer to help with our box office.
- Be a steward during the event itself.
We're open to lots of suggestions and we welcome any ways that you might want to be involved. It's our town, it's our festival - get stuck in.
